Pride & Prejudice One Day Tour – Peaks and Pemberley

Take in the beautiful views as seen by Elizabeth Bennet, and of course, Mr Darcy’s stunning Pemberley abode!

A.M
Our guide will meet you at Buxton station, and from there you will travel to the village of Lambton to see the Bull Inn (exterior) where Elizabeth stayed with her aunt and uncle. This is where Elizabeth heard the news of Lydia’s elopement, and where Darcy came upon her just afterwards. You will have the opportunity of refreshments here (included) before setting off to see Lizzie’s Peak District, and visit the actual scene as shot in the series. The climb, is an easy one, but do be sure to have good fitting shoes, not sandals or other light footwear. You will be able to see the views that Elizabeth described as ‘beautiful’ and of course take as many photos as you wish, to remember your ‘Lizzy Moment’ .
P.M
In the afternoon you travel on to Pemberley. You will have lunch here (not included) before going on to see the famous lake outside the house itself, the centre courtyard and approaches, plus the long garden walkway. You will have the chance to take refreshments (not included) here before your guide takes you to either Stockport station for your onward/homeward journey, or a return to your hotel.
Please Note – there is currently no access to ‘Darcy’s Pond’ until late summer (date to be confirmed)
