Pride & Prejudice One Day Tour – Bath, Meryton and Longbourn Church

A walking tour of Bath, a visit to the small town of Meryton, other location sites nearby, plus the church at Longbourn where Elizabeth and Darcy marry.

A.M
Our guide will meet you at Bath Railway Station and from there you will have a walking tour of Bath, with our guide pointing out those sites that Jane Austen would have known and been familiar with, along with her various homes in the city. You will then visit the village of Meryton. This beautiful National Trust village includes the sites for Meryton Assembly rooms, Darcy’s university and The Bell at Bromley. You will also see the filming views, the site where the Bennet sisters met Wickham for the first time amongst others.
You will have lunch here (not included) before travelling onwards.
P.M
After lunch you will travel on to visit the very lovely, small church that served as Longbourn Church, where Lizzie marries Darcy and Jane weds Bingley.
You will also see ‘Lizzie’s walk, and catch a glimpse of Longbourn itself.
You will have plenty of time for all your photo opportunities and to buy any souvenirs that you wish.
You will have the chance of refreshments at the tour end.
Your guide will return you to Chippenham station for your onward/homeward journey around 4:30pm

We deliver tours to filming locations used in British costume dramas, such as Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice (1995 & 2005) and Jane Eyre, amongst others.
