The Downton Abbey movie has been and gone, and movie number 2 is now with us, so if you’d like to revisit the sites and scenes of the series and film, then book a tour with us in 2022!
You’ll also see the surrounding beautiful English countryside with a variety of tour options throughout the year.

Opening dates for Highclere Castle for 2022 as follows (please note the site is closed on Fridays and Saturdays)

8th – 22nd April plus 30th April – Closed on Good Friday 

1st & 2nd May plus 28th & 29th May 2022

CLOSED during June

Reopens for summer:

10th July – 5th September (closed on Fridays and Saturdays)

Highclere is closed to the public during June and on Fridays and Saturdays during July to September

Classic British Drama Tours aims to give our clients an insight into the world of literary dramas from the likes of Charlotte Bronte, Shakespeare and of course Jane Austen.

We deliver tours to filming locations used in British costume dramas, such as Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice (1995 & 2005) and Jane Eyre, amongst others.

Costume drama is our passion and we love to host tours to these sometimes little known, but beautiful locations.
