Puzzle Time!

Hello everyone!
We are back after the Spring Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK. Of course 25th May was also a public holiday in many other countries, so we hope you had a splendid weekend too!

So we’re at the start of another week in quarantine, although the shoots of reopening here are beginning to become evident. However, we must stay safe, so to relieve the boredom a little for you, here’s another puzzle of Demelza and Ross Poldark.
Enjoy your day, stay home, click the link to activate the puzzle!

Caroline Bingley on Town And Country Mag Cover!

Of course we couldn’t let our series of ‘Regency’ magazine editions pass by without the mention of Town & Country magazine, with the ever affable(!) Caroline Bingley gracing the cover. In this edition she gives us her withering views on various subjects, including perhaps, whether ‘fine eyes’ are indeed brightened by exercise!

Is the hat strategically hiding the ‘O’ in Country?? (Apologies, not of our making!)

Regency Woman’s World!

Mrs Bennet is not to be out done by her daughter Mary, and so here she gives us her insight into the life and times of a Regency gentlewoman, and comments on Lydia’s marriage with Wickham, Lady Catherine De Bourgh’s sudden visit and gives the lowdown on Mr Hurst’s sleep problems! All in this week’s ‘Regency’ Woman’s World!

Mary Bennet In Regency Rolling Stone Magazine!

The other day we featured the cover of Regency Teen magazine with Georgiana Darcy on the cover.
Today we are highlighting another ‘popular’ magazine, Regency Rolling Stone with Mary Bennet as their cover girl! Forever overlooked, and never in Mr Collins’ eyeline poor Mary seems to have found a station in life, maybe as an agony aunt!
Picture by Debby Dever via The Jane Austen Tea Series from Bingley’s Tras Ltd – with huge thanks.
