Due to circumstances beyond our control here at Classic British Drama Tours, we have to give you the sad news that Longbourn will not be part of our Pride And Prejudice tours for the foreseeable future.

This is due to the property being sold after the death of the previous owner.
Longbourn is now in new hands and for the time being, is closed to visitors.

I am in contact with the new owners and am hoping to come to an agreement with them to facilitate a limited viewing of the Bennet family home at some point in the future.

Fingers crossed, and watch this space!

I want to thank you so much for a wonderful tour.

All of my guides, including you, of course, were wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I think the most memorable time was actually my stay at Victoria (Tor) Owen at the Old Rectory.

Thanks again for everything and my best wishes to you and all of your wonderful guide helpers.

Our dates for our ever popular 4 day public Pride And Prejudice locations coach tour (1995 series) are now confirmed as:

5th – 8th June

4th – 7th September

Other dates are available throughout the summer, but the two dates above are the only coach tour dates.

Downton Abbey – aka Highclere Castle – opening dates are confirmed as:

31st March – 15th April

5th, 6th, 7th May plus 27th, 28th, 29th May

CLOSED during June

8th July – 4th September (closed on Fridays and Saturdays)
