Welcome to Classic British Drama Tours

Coronoavirus – Covid 19 – update.

Due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic, we have not been able to deliver any tours this year.

However, we are taking bookings for 2021, and we would love to take you to your must see sites and sights, whether that be Downton Abbey, Pemberley, Donwell Abbey, Hartfield or indeed Trenwith House!

Remember, if you can’t see an itinerary on this website, contact us, and we will create a bespoke tour, just for you!

We hope that we will see you on these shores very soon.

Stay safe, stay home!

Classic British Drama Tours, delivering tours to filming locations used in British costume dramas, such as Downton Abbey, Poldark, Pride and Prejudice (1995 & 2005) and Jane Eyre, amongst others.

We also host tours around Jane Austen, visiting places lived in and loved by her, plus the inspirations for her novels, and the locations used in the many adaptations of her works.

Join us for a tour with our guides who are passionate about period dramas, and are enthusiastic to share their knowledge of the history and social etiquette behind many of these glorious productions.

Please note; many locations are owned by the National Trust, Heritage England or Historic Houses Association, and therefore are not accessible during the winter months, usually from the end of October until March.
Some have limited opening days during the winter season, so please contact us before booking, to ensure your tour can go ahead.
